Endowment Giving
St. Martin's Endowment continues to grow thanks to the generous support of foundations, school families, the PTO and the annual Golf Tournament. The SMES Endowment was founded in 2001 with seed money from the St. Martin's Board of Trustees and currently totals close to $2 million.
The Board of Trustees has developed a long-range plan to ensure long-term funding and support for the school.
Like all private schools, St. Martin's depends on its Endowment as insurance against economic downturns or other unforeseen challenges. More importantly, an Endowment provides St. Martin's the flexibility to do what all excellent schools must: continually expand the curriculum to meet the intellectual needs of developing students.
Endowment funds will provide a stable source of funding for St. Martin's programs, ensuring they will be permanently available to St. Martin's students, insulating them from budget cutbacks during economic downturns and supplying a continuous source of funding for enhancing quality.
Just as previous donors created an outstanding opportunities for current students, today's school families can, in turn, leave a legacy of excellence for future students by making a gift toward the Endowment.
