Anniversary Events
• The Living History display, which will include various photographs and memorabilia from the past 50 years, will be unveiled on August 18, 2009. Look for items from the school archives as well as other items donated by current and former parents and alumni.
• Anniversary Kick-off Event on campus: August 28, 11:30 EC Dismissal, 12:45 ES/MS Dismissal
• School Sunday, the annual service at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church, will incorporate many anniversary elements. The Rt. Rev. Neil Alexander will serve as celebrant, and SMES students will serve as acolytes and greeters. The date is Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 at the 9:00 a.m. service. A brunch will be served in Gable Hall following the service.
• The 4th Annual World Storytelling Celebration: Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, 11 am to 4 pm on campus. The event will include some SMES historical stories.
• The Fling: Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at the Cobb Energy Centre.
• The annual Celebration of the Arts, Art Show & Musical: April 22-23, 2010. It will include artwork from alumni as part of the displays.
• Red & Blue Alumni Social (Classes of 2007-2009): Thursday, March 18, 2010
• Senior Dinner, Class of 2006: Sunday, April 18, 2010
